All sites have a picnic table, unpaved parking spur and either a campfire ring, grill or stove available. Water for this campground is inoperable.
From Shasta Lake Ranger Station, take I-5 North. After approximately 11.5 miles, exit Salt Creek/Gilman road (#698). Nelson Point is located approximately one mile west of Interstate 5 off the Salt Creek/Gilman Road exit. Travel 1/2 mile off the Salt Creek Road on the Conflict Point Road to reach this facility.
