This campground is located in a small canyon adjacent to the lake. The Jones Valley boat ramp and the Clickipudi Trail are located nearby.

All sites have

  • Tent pad
  • Raised campfire ring
  • Bear boxes
  • Picnic table
  • Paved parking spur

  • From Shasta Lake Ranger Station 
  • Turn right and drive two tenths of a mile to the stop sign on Old Oregon Trail
  • Turn right and follow Old Oregon trail for three miles
  • Turn left on to Bear Mountain road and travel 8.5 miles to the junction of Dry Creek Road
  • Turn Left and follow Dry Creek Road approximately two miles to facility
