Tucked away on the secluded Pit River arm of Shasta Lake, Jones Valley Resort is still only a short drive from Redding (about 20 minutes).
The houseboat rentals and resort’s concrete dock system, as well as its fleet of houseboats, were designed to be safe, wheelchair accessible, comfortable, and user friendly.
The houseboat marina even has a floating recreation center located on the dock, complete with basketball, pool table, ping-pong, foosball, and shuffleboard.
The marina store is well stocked with everything you will need for your stay on the lake including ice, groceries, beverages, fuel and unique apparel.
For the angler, the resort has a great selection of live bait and tackle.

- On Bear Mountain Road drive 5.5 miles to stop sign at Dry Creek Road.
- Left 1 mile to fork, stay on right (marked Jones Valley Road).
- Continue 200 yards to sign that reads Joses Valley Resort Marina and
- turn left follow road 1 mile to Marina
